MY APPROACH

Through a safe, authentic, empathic and non-judgmental therapeutic relationship, I help my clients to find a better way to see and accept themself while managing their life's challenges.

We all go through hard moments in life where emotional pain, lack of hope and feelings of being out of control, limit our ability to cope.

One of the central cores of my work is supporting my clients to feel in charge of their thoughts, beliefs, attitudes and issues. These processes develop awareness of how we think, how perceive the world, and in particular, how we respond to it.

There is no therapy without a meaningful therapeutic relationship and alliance, which facilitate the exploration and co-creation of new perspectives and new ways to be in contact with the self.

Ultimately, my approach focuses on supporting and scaffolding my clients into gently developing compassion and care for the self as a whole, recognising the complexity that characterised us as humans, and to manage and accept the defences that often limits us to express our full potential.

I believe in active and cooperative therapy that aims to find and apply new healthier coping strategies to face past and future distressing experiences. I use an integrative approach to explore and tailor the most suitable intervention according to the person's needs and uniqueness.

In my practice I combine different approaches and techniques, according to your needs:

  • CBT - Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

  • CFT - Compassion Focus Therapy

  • DBT - Dialectical Behavioral Therapy

  • Application of Polyvagal Theory

  • Psychodynamic Techniques

  • Psycho-educational resources

  • Mindfulness and Relaxation Techniques
